Fragrant Ubvartan Body Scrub
Guest Author - Françoise Rapp

Cleanse, tone and detoxify your body with this exquisite ayurvedic recipe. Ayurveda is a holistic system of healing that originated in India thousands of years ago. All recipes and treatments are made with high-grade natural ingredients: vegetable oils, herbs and essential oils.

Today´s recipe is for a perfect spring-time body treatment called "ubvartan." Ubvartan is a gentle scrub made of only flours, vegetable oils and essential oils to stimulate, tone, cleanse and reduce fat deposits by improving the metabolism of the muscles. It is easy to prepare and use -- simply mix all the ingredients in a bowl and add enough warm spring water to create a nice textured paste. Rub it on the entire body. Then take a cool shower to remove the paste. Your skin will feel refreshed, smooth and supple. You may also want to apply a body oil or lotion if you live a dry climate.
